Name: Sennya Matten
Race: Mutated human
Height: 5' 7''
Weight: 120 lbs.
Age: 38
Eyes: Dark Brown
Hair: White
Physical Appearance: Sennya is a very fragile-looking woman. Skinny and pale like the moonlight, she might look she will break at the slightest touch. Her thin hair is just as pale as her unnaturaly white skin, cut short, it easily floats with the slightest breeze, forming cloud-like shapes. Her slim face is very feminine, with a small nose and small but slightly pouty lips. Her marked cheekbones and the dark rings under her eyes add to her overall sickly appearance, as if she suffered a very damaging terminal disease.
She seems quite fond of complements and accessories, but really, the many rings that hang from her body, tied to her clothes or hair with thin threads, contain different ground herbs or liquids.
Her clothes are always wide and of a pure white, revealing little of her small, thin figure. She clearly lacks curves of any sort, as if her skin was tightly wrapped around her skelleton. She has a very thin white ribbon tied around her head and usually wears sandals on her feet.
Personality: Sennya acts almost like one would expect from a robot. She barely ever shows emotions and she does not tend to speak too much. She is, though, far from unsensitive. Having lost everything that she believed made her life worth living, Sennya lives fully for the sake of others, and a beautiful, warm smile will easily escape her lips if she has performed a good action that managed to make someone happy.
There are many other things that make her unique, though. In front of any sort of disease, she is stubborn and determined, and she will rarely give up in front even of the worse, most obscure ones. She is almost obessive regarding other people's health, and if there is something she can do, she will rarely give up until she achieves to give her best.
She despises causing harm to others, and she rarely fights back. Even monsters, creatures and the worst criminals are most of the time spared if ever even fought against. But despite having such a strong moral, unable to harm others, she will never be preachy or self-righteous. Furthermore, when asked for her reasons to be the way she is, she will remain completely silent most of the time.
She is as secretive of her past as she is of her reasons to be the way she is, not because she has anything to hide, but simply because she does not like to remember her own past.
Likes: Health, healthy food, touching soft things, most other people.
Dislikes: Diseases, pain (mostly on others), anything poisonous (unless it can be beneficiously applied to medicine), weapons, fighting.
Weapon(s): While Sennya carries a few medical tools that COULD be used as weapons, the woman loathes them with all her soul and even if she is ever forced to fight, she will use her bare hands and powers even if she is not particularly strong.
Powers:
-Made of ash: Sennya's body is formed of the ashes of her own body, kept together with white magic. This ash is extremely toxic even to beings usually invulnerable to poison. She can spread the ashes of her body at will, making the area surrounding her slowly turn beautifully white. This slowly drains her of her life expectancy, though.
-Pressure points: Sennya can quickly analyze the target's body and find weak spots. She can use this ability on enemies to lower their stats or damage them or on allies (or herself) to strengthen them.
Class: White Mage
Job: Wandering medic
History: Sennya's childhood was far from bizarre. She was born from a doctor in a small village where no white mage or medic with higher skills would stay, being able to find a much brighter and greater future in a big city or wandering the world.
She lived her youth by learning her father's methods and sometimes putting them into practice on her friends or acquaitances.
With time, she reached the level of her father, but she started exploring other methods to heal people as well: from the energy around one's environment to one's own energy or even white magic.
Not long after she grew older and married a young villager, another doctor came to town. This one, despite being incredibly popular thanks to his sharp tongue and amazing ability to spit lies and exalt the properties of his fake medicaments, was little more than a swindler.
It did not take long until the newcomer found the competence of the woman, who had inherited her father's job after he decided to retire, because his old hands were not precise anymore, too annoying.
But fortunately for him, he did not travel alone. After being repeatedly kicked out of and chased in every town he had been because of his positively perjudicial products, the doctor had decided to use the help of his little brother, a giant with absolutely no brains and the behavior of a child.
He decided to use that gigantic body to his advantage. When the empty headed man was ill, he took good care of him with his own medicines... with a terrible (but actually expected) result.
When the gentle giant, who did not like to hurt people even under the orders of his elder brother, started feeling horrible pains everywhere despite being cured from his illness, until the suffering became unbearable. His elder brother, sly and cunning, let him know that the medicines he had used belonged to Sennya, who had lent them to him to 'help' his brother, but had betrayed them.
Not long afterwards, the lesser brother was crushing the main door to Sennya's house, crushing it to pieces, while the fake medic calmly awaited the results of his little scheme without a single bit of regret disturbing his rotten soul.
What Sennya's husband was soon trying to keep away from his family was not human anymore, but an angered monster who only had in mind killing the innocent woman, no matter what got in its way.
Remo, Sennya's husband, was soon taken care of by the colossus, who, in his madness, set the house on fire as he pursued Sennya.
Finally cornered, Sennya did her best to protect her child with what little she knew, but the giant never actually managed to reach his nemesis. Before he was close enough to deliver an only and fatal blow, ignoring even the cries of the young baby, the house finally collapsed over them.
When the people of the town came to investigate, including the fake doctor, the giant was still alive, raising from the rumble. Of course, the doctor quickly proceeded to scold his brother, who had lost his capacity to speak any more, in front of everyone. The giant, not understanding anything (after all, had his brother not told him to do what he had just done?) slowly started realizing he had been the victim of a terrible betrayal, and the truth of the horrible act he had carried out soon creeped to his dulled mind. The half man half beast ran away from the furious, scared turf, and hid in the forests, probably running very, very far away.
A few years passed, and someone, a stormy night, rose like the giant had once done from the ruins of the doctor's house. A pale, almost naked woman, who looked around without understanding anything of what was happening around her, or where she was... even her own identity was unknown to her!
As she investigated the village, she only found in front of herself a hopeless landscape. Sick people, old houses about to collapse, misery... When she asked a kind old woman who offered her hosting, the woman found out that a monstruous doctor had once inhabitated the village. After the decease of their other doctor, the man took care of everyone in the village for outrageously high prices. Not only that! It seemed the doctor had also started experimenting on them as he supposedly took care of their health problems. They found out too late that the beast that had once destroyed and seemingly killed their previous doctor had probably been created by that disgusting rat of man.
Of course, having investigated to his heart's contempt, the doctor had disappeared some time ago, leaving the village to wither away, since no one was in condition to leave and look for help of even the closest city.
She felt outraged, hearing such a story. But she was weak and fragile too. She had been 'reborn' but all her vitality was close to zero.
She also discovered that the old woman was taking care of the son of the deceased doctor, and when she saw him, sometimes old memories would pop back up, though never being revealing enough.
She discovered that she had quite a talent to take care of people, and she had an extense knowledge on herbs and even a speckle of white magic. And as her memories slowly came back and everyone worked on trying to bring the village back to its former glory, the woman realized her skin seemed to keep shadding, the outer layers turning almost into dust.
The boy's illness soon became extremely strong, and during the operation, the woman's memories came back fully. She knew that child because it was her own child. And she could remember now that she was none other than Sennya, the previous doctor. Fortunately, she was successful, and her son's suffering subsided... though not for long.
After their warm reunion, few weeks afterwards, Sennya's closest people started feeling bad, especially her own son. And it did not take long until she found out she was the cause of her son's painless but slow and steady path to death.
Since it was already inevitable, Sennya spent her son's last days with him. And when his grasp became cold and lifeless, the woman, unable to bear the suffering, left the village without having even a slight idea of where she was going, probably just hoping to fall off a cliff at night.
But when she was tired and lost, covered in mud and dirt, someone seemed to find her. For soon she found herself under the care of someone who seemed to be some sort of wandering monk, able to resist the damages that her body had caused to her own kin. He explained her that his friend had found her, and he helped her regain some hope and learn how to keep her own body from hurting others as they discovered its properties.
Heartbroken, but still alive and determined to help others, Sennya decided to make up for all the suffering she believed she herself had caused, redeeming herself by discovering new cures and helping people who were beyond any hope.
Limit Break:
White fields: While Sennya usually only liberates small amounts of ash to harm the enemies, this nearly suicidal limit break creates an extremely toxic field of ashes 15 meters around her. They affect the enemy slowing them down and weakening them, becoming eventually lethal.
